Rhyme N Chatt has two awesome poetry and jazz events scheduled for Friday, February 12, 2010 at Loose Cannon Arts (located at 1800 Rossville Avenue; Chattanooga, TN).

SMOOTH GROOVE is a show featuring talented teens. It will feature area dancers and singing groups including a live R&B band. Food and drinks are available for purchase. Show starts at 4PM and tickets are only $5! This is a great outing for church and civic groups.
RNC's Annual LOVE GROOVE Show (for grown folk) is set for that evening. Doors open at 7:30PM and the show starts PROMPTLY at 8PM. The band Pure Sound will be performing. This will be the last show organized by Lady T and the Poetic Diva, so be sure not to miss this one! We will be starting a new era for Rhyme N Chatt with the introduction of CHRISTIAN as our new poetic "top dog!"

Rhyme N Chatt supports open mic events throughout the Chattanooga area. Currently, we are supporting the new open mic event "SPEAKEASY" at the MudPie Restaurant located on Frazier Avenue in North Chattanooga at the end of the Market Street Bridge.
These open mic sessions are open to poets, singers and musicians. They are free, informal poetry sessions every Monday night 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Rhyme N Chatt Interactive Poetry Organization exists to provide a fun, interactive format by which poetry can be openly shared and discussed.
Founded in 1999 by Vincent Phipps of Chattanooga, RNC has grown to have a sound reputation for quality poetry for whatever the event requires. Presentations have been made in area elementary, middle and high schools as well as universities, churches and community events.

Rhyme N Chatt stands out from other poetry organizations by having an interactive format that allows poets to interact with the poets by asking questions and making positive, constructive comments. This makes for a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where people come alone and leave with new friends.
